Online Bangers Update 10

Update 10 is now available for the NASCAR Heat Online Bangers mod.
It features a selection of new Unlimited cars, and a fix to the Gran2E. This is the first update with cars commissioned by the community, big thanks to those who have supported new content for the game.
Plenty of other games are rising in popularity these days, but it's nice to be able to hit the milestone of a 10th update whilst there's still people playing.

Installation of this update will be compulsory for racing online from tomorrow (Wednesday 30th September 2020). All previous updates are included in the install.

New Cars:
You can try out some of the new cars in a special Update 10 skinpack, which you can use when you load up the game after installing.

Toyota Crown Custom - Coupe, Estate & Saloon

Headlining this update is the new Custom Crown range, historically they've always been some of the most requested cars so I'm pleased they've finally been done! Templates include a variety of chrome and trim options to help create the desired look. All are on Mk3Cedric physics, so expect them to be solid contenders for good all rounders.


Nissan Cedric 430 - Saloon & Estate

More commonly known as the 280c, this is a complete remake of the Mk3 Cedric and is now much more accurate and detailed, and comes with a much needed Estate version too. It retains the same physics as the older model (MK3Cedric), so will perform the same as its predecessor.


Mk2 Lincoln Towncar - Saloon & Limousine

This modern yank saloon will certainly prove a good wrecking machine, and the limo will make a great track blocker and tbone target! They've become an increasingly more common sight on the ovals, with plenty of examples being raced now with less of the original Mk1 variants being seen these days.


Mk1 Granada Ambulance - Straight cuts & Round cuts

Everyone loves an update with a new Granada variant! This will provide an interesting alternative to the usual limo and hearses at all Granada sessions. There is the option to race either straight cut or round cut versions by changing the chassis name.
As requested, the template for this car will be released shortly. In the meantime it will be available in the Update 10 skinpack for use until then.

Physics and Other
The wheels on the Gran2E and Gran2EU have finally been strengthened, and the issue with the disapearing doors has been fixed as well.
No other changes have been made in this update.

Closing
As always, thanks to those who are still keeping the game alive, particularly those who are running leagues. Whether it's Bangers or Stock Cars, it's good to see healthy turnouts for the bigger meetings.
